Kobe Disrespected

According to ESPN, Kobe Bean Bryant is the 25th best player in the NBA. This ranking is absurd, as a Los Angeles native; I grew up not being a Kobe Bryant fan.
I never enjoyed his antics off the court and his propensity to put down his teammates. As a fan of basketball, Bryant is by far one of the best players, I’ve ever seen play.
ESPN is dismissing the career of Bryant and his season last year. The ranking is for the 2013-2014 season, but Kobe Bryant is still a top-ten player.
Kobe does not fit in the top five anymore, but with 3 seconds left and down by one point, who would you rather have shooting the last shot?
           Kobe Bryant.
The years of winning multiple NBA championship is in the rear view mirror for Kobe. Bryant is in the twilight of his career, but this ranking will definitely add fuel to the fire.
This NBA season will be the passing of the torch from Kobe. Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose, Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Paul George are the present and future of the league.
Thank you Kobe for the years of passion for the game, but they’re next.

  1. Hoon: Some good, pointed comments. Strong opinion here about Kobe Bryant. Liked it. Next time, practice using more provocative language. Mix things up a bit.
