RG III Shut Down For The Season

Robert Griffin III will not be throwing interceptions or being sacked this upcoming Sunday.

Head Coach Mike Shanahan has deactivated RG III for the rest of the season. The motivation for Shanahan’s decision is that he wants to be fired. Under Shanahan the Washington Redskins have three losing seasons and one playoff birth.

His decision to keep RG III in last years playoff game has been highly criticized.  Now that RG III is healthy, he decides to bench him. It seems Shanahan’s time with the Skins is inevitable over.

The Redskins have been a circus this season, with dysfunctional locker room. This falls squarely on the head coach.

Shanahan a two-time Super Bowl championship coach, has not figured out the correct formula in the nation’s capitol. RG III will have to take this off-season to improve his quarterback play and the Skins need to find a coach who will embrace Griffin.

With expectation of winning their division, the fans will have to look forward to the 2014 draft.
