Tom Terrific Looks Frustrated and Flustered
The
turmoil began for the Patriots in June of 2013. Who could have
predicted a tumultuous off-season which included All-Pro tight end
Aaron Hernandez charged and indicted for murder. The Patriots let
free agent Wes Welker sign with Brady’s nemesis Peyton Manning. Rob
Gronkowski, the most effective tight end in the NFL is still
recovering from four surgeries on his forearm. According to CBS, if
you factor in the Gronkowski injury and the players who left the
Patriots, Brady will be missing 84 percent of his offensive
productivity from 2012.
The
Brady Bunch won a thriller in week 1 against the Buffalo Bills,
hitting a late field goal to squeeze out the victory. In week 2 the
Patriots offense looked anemic, the golden boy threw for 185 yards
with an abysmal 24.2 quarterback rating. The New England offense
mustered 232 yards of offense and scored 13 points. Tom Brady is
arguably one of the best quarterbacks of all time. But with an
inexperienced wide receivers and tight ends, this year might be a
wash. The Patriots will win 10 or 11 games and will make the
playoffs. But Peyton Manning and Wes Welker are looming waiting for a
chance to dissect and demolish the Patriots.
But
don’t feel bad for Tom Brady, he gets to go home to Giselle and his
wonderful Ugg boots collection.
